weekly beginner songwriting workshop
This course is designed for anyone starting out as a songwriter or for those who want to take their writing further. Each week will focus on a different aspect of songwriting, from song structure and chords to melody and lyrics. Along the way, we will go through exercises to get you started, and assignments to keep you busy in between classes!
We will also have listening and analysis of great songs to help you understand what makes them great! The course is taught by published songwriters with years of professional experience.
We keep the class size small, there will be a maximum of 5 participants for each course.
Basic guitar or piano skills are a plus for this course, but not compulsory.
We would be happy to answer any queries or questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
